Cashmere wool blanket factory

On Friday I read in our local newspaper that the employees of the cashmere wool blanket factory in Brighton went on strike last Wednesday. They demanded higher remuneration and shortening they working hours. The newspaper says that the employees of the cashmere wool blanket factory came to work on that day and they all refused to start their work. There were about fifty employees of the cashmere wool blanket factory who made that decision to go on strike. Immediately the Board members came to the factory and also the representative of trade unions. The employees of the cashmere wool blanket factory were angry and accused the authorities of the factory of exploitation of their work force. Of course everyone in the company was in a great shock because this was absolutely unexpected by anyone. The authorities of the factory promised to start negotiations concerning the objections the employees of the cashmere wool blanket factory had and presented during the meeting. As it was written in the newspaper, the meeting with the trade unions is scheduled for next Monday and then we will see in which direction it is going to go. I guess this must have stopped the process of production in the factory and resulted in losses.
